About the art

I made the Christmas tree lights in 1998. I was in Boston, where all of the lights around me seemed to be small, and white, and, well, entirely too tasteful. I missed the large, warm, glowing colorful lights of my childhood, so I made some. Note the electrical tape; it is essential to the spark of nostalgia.

The "candle" design has a lighter ring around it which shows up better on some computers and in some circumstances.
